If you’ve ever wondered if there was an easy way to preview installed fonts all at once, then you don’t want to miss this tutorial!
Whether you have a Mac or a PC, there is an easy way you can preview all of the fonts installed on your computer at once. So if you are working on a graphic design that you need a specific font for, stop scrolling through all of your fonts within your program and check this site out instead!
It’s called Wordmark. It and it has seriously been a game changer for me! I used to spend so much time scrolling, scrolling and scrolling some more to find the exact font I was looking for, whether it was in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Silhouette Studio or even just MS Word!
How to Preview Installed Fonts at once
Wordmark. It is a website that pulls fonts that are installed on your computer to display them in one nice, easy to navigate site. Here’s how it works:
Pull up the website. You may need to install Adobe Flash for it to work properly, but that doesn’t take much time.
Next, type in the word or phrase you need a font for and hit enter.
The program will automatically display that phrase in each font that is currently installed on that computer.
Simply go through and select the fonts that may work for your specific application. Once selected, you can filter all of the fonts to only display the fonts you’ve narrowed your decision down to.
You can change the size of the word or phrase by selecting the plus or minus sign, and see white text on a black background by selecting the crescent moon. If you have the Pro version (I do not) you can even tag and categorize your fonts to make finding the perfect one even easier!
See how cool is that?? Instead of selecting each font within the program to see what it looks like, you can preview installed fonts all at once! It’s a complete game changer!
